About Me

Hello!! I am Leslie Ponder and thank you for visiting my blog!! This is my third year at Schilling Farms and my fourth year as a teacher. The first year I taught in Carrollton, MS which is about 2 hours from Memphis. I taught Language Arts and Social Studies. Then I got married and moved to Memphis. I taught Science and Social Studies the last two years and this year, I am teaching Math and Science. I graduated from Mississippi State University…go bulldogs!! I am originally from Byram, Mississippi which is just South of Jackson. I have two sisters and one brother, who are all younger than I am. I have been married for a little over two years. My husbands name is Brandon and we have a dog name Tyson, he’s a Jack-rat. I am also the cheerleading sponsor of 26 cheerleaders. I love to read, draw, exercise, and hang out with family.
